- Operating on a commercial
basis, Fire-Aid International has supplied refurbished
fire appliances to the Waterford County Fire Service in
Ireland, the first - a Dennis RS133 water tender - being
delivered in November 1995. Since then a close contact
has been maintained between the brigade and Fire-Aid
International who have supplied further appliances, pumps
and equipment.

Dennis water tender ladder 83-WD-423 supplied by Fire-Aid
International to the Waterford County Fire Service in
1996 and now stationed at Tramore. Originally registered
ONP 784Y, it was new to the Hereford and Worcester Fire
Brigade and served at Worcester, Evesham and Bromyard.
1974 ERF 84PF / HCB-Angus / Simon SS70 hydraulic platform
74-WD-513 purchased by the Waterford County Fire Service
from the Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service in 1996 with
many of the arrangements and some refurbishment work
carried out by Fire-Aid International. New to the
Portsmouth Fire Brigade as ORV 713M, it was fitted with
85' booms which were replaced by 70' booms by the
Hampshire Fire Brigade in 1977. It served at Southsea,
Aldershot and the new station at Rushmoor and is now on
the run at Dungarvan.
