ANGUILLA FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE

The Anguilla Fire and Rescue Service was the first fire brigade to benefit from UK government funding following a fact-finding visit to the Caribbean by Bournemouth based fire consultant Simon Adamson in 1993. Two Bedford water tenders were supplied and these came from the West Yorkshire Fire Service with Fire-Aid International making the preparations and co-ordinating the whole aid package which provided nine fire appliances for four dependant territories.
